Additional Information:
Produced prior to World War I this bayonet was used and maintained by military forces well after the end of World War II.

Because this bayonet was so functional and well made it set the standard for future bayonet designs.

It has a double edge blade made of high quality steel. Both the bayonet and scabbard are blued and the scabbard has a ball finial tip.

The round hollow grip slides over the cleaning rod and the locking mechanism attaches to the lug on the front of the barrel.
