Additional Information:
We have done a tremendous amount of research on this pen and it is
apparently a highly desirable antique pen.
The clip is not original to the pen but because of the quality of the
installation it was most probably done at the time of original purchase.
The 14K Gold nib, while old, is not original to the pen.
The Mother of Pearl is in excellent condition and is tight with no
chips, cracks or damage.
Some of the rubber has discolored with age from black to shades of
brown.
The imprint is fairly clear and legible. See Photo.
We have not opened the pen to see inside for fear of damaging or
breaking it. We will leave that to the buyer or a qualify pensmith who
will no doubt be much more knowledgeable about how to do it safely.
If you need additional pictures we will be happy to provide them.
