Additional Information:
This Napkin Ring features a baby chick, perhaps a blue bird next to its
cracked eggshell. It says Good Morning as it appears it just hatched.
Napkin rings were in fashion from about 1870 to just after 1900. They
were made of a number of materials including silver and silver plate.
The most popular napkin rings with collectors seems to be the silver
plated figural examples that sit on wishbones. They are small,
realistic figurines and the wishbone held them in place.
Nothing says elegance like a figural vintage napkin ring. It will, at
the very least, be a major conversation piece and will add flair to
your dining room décor. The perfect wake me up as it says
GOOD MORNING on top of the ring.
