Additional Information:
This is a wonderful 1927 yearbook or annual for Sonora Union High
School. The school, which is now over 100 years old, was founded in
1903 in the town of Sonora, California located in Tuolumne County in
the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains not far from Yosemite
National Park.
This year book, titled Green and Gold, is over 80 years old and shows
the style and dress of the citizens of years gone by. It is doubtful
that any of the students or faculty are still living however this would
be an ideal piece of history for the genealogy enthusiast. Perhaps your
parents, grandparents or great-grandparents are pictured here???
The Senior Class shows all of the individual students and their names
while the Junior, Sophomore and Freshman classes show only group
pictures with the students not identified. The faculty and staff are
pictured individually and identified.
This book is a true walk down memory lane!
