This is the Teacher's Edition of the First Reader On Cherry Street
by David H. Russell and Odille Ousley. It is in fabulous condition and
appears not to have been used in a school system as there are no
markings whatsoever in it.
Approximately half of the book is geared toward teaching while the
second half is exactly the same as the students would have seen and
used in school.
This is not only a collector's item because of it being a Teacher's
Edition Reader but would be ideal for the Home School parents to teach
their children to read. All of the instructions necessary are in this
book. The student's portion is stories contain within the titles in
section four below - Plans for Teaching the First Reader, On Cherry
Street.
